Well hello there, this is my first submission in so long, and the first finished piece of art I have done in ages.
I know its not great, but its the first one I have been able to finish in a long time. And you have to start back somewhere...

Hope you like it!

I guess its a pretty self-explanatory piece, to me at least.
But, interpret it as you will. One interpretation I have is related to this being a contest entry (see below).
The background is supposed to blurred like that too by the way, it's symbolic...well its supposed to be anyway :giggle:

This is also an entry for the contest being run by =Gracies-Stock and =eli-stock, it falls under the 'Once Upon A Fairytale' catagory. [link]

The idea of the young girl, trapped in an awful life, dreaming of freedom and escape. I also like the fact that you can think about it two ways.
Is she trapped in the world of the peasant girl, dreaming of becoming a princess, or is she already a princess, or has become one, and now dreams of being free from the social confines of royalty. :)

I like it. The only thing I would say. Would be for the picture in the picture frame to be a little more off-center. Good job.

just the path. It seems a little bit in the center. I'm not a professional, but it seems like when things are a little more to the left or right they're more interesting/eye catching. But you're contrast is wonderful. Mud vs. flowers. :)

ahh i see what you mean now. I did have it a bit more to the side, but then there was too much foliage in the image, and it looked unabalanced.
